Merry Christmas!!!

We had an awesome Christmas!!! We were planning on sleeping in but I woke up early. We decided to wait until Christmas morning to put our presents out that way it was a little more exciting and I couldn't peak at my gifts. I got Hartley shirts mostly but he also got "The Dark Knight", "Hit Man", A really nice tie, a tie holder and Transformers for fun. I got a yoga mat, journal, back pack, enties (shoes), and matching shirts. Then he surprised me with another bag. It was a little gold bag, so I opened it, inside was a little white box. They were 1/4 carat diamond earrings. They were beautiful. I love them. I still can't believe he bought me diamonds. He said I needed "Bling." hahaha. He's so cute I love him. Later we had Emi, Kiki, and Ty over. We made a really nice dinner, watched "The Dark Knight" and had hot chocolate to end the night. It was a great day.

Christmas Party!!!

My Aunt had a States family Christmas party this weekend. It was really fun. Most of the family was there and lots of grand kids. We sang songs, ate really awesome food of course. Had a small talent show for those who wanted to share, and then someone special showed up. Santa!!! I thought that was such a cool thing to do for the kids, they loved it. I even sat on Santa's lap to tell him what I wanted. My brownies were a hit which was nice, I didn't have to take to many home to eat myself. Spending time with that side of the family was nice since it doesn't happened to often and its always a good time. I got to hold my cousins new little girl "Tasi" she's beautiful, and my Aunts new puppy He's way cute. We didn't go home to late and overall it was a good night. I love Christmas.

My new job!!!

I had my last day at Supercuts on Tuesday. It was a little sad to leave my friends but not bad enough to stay. I started at Dollarcuts on Friday. It was really good a little slow but the environment is really relaxed and I felt very comfortable and welcomed. The girls I work with are very friendly and cool. I still feel a really good about it, and the fact that its only a block and a half away from our apartment makes me feel even better about it. I don't dread going to work anymore and even thought right now the money is not as good having Sundays off, makes it all worth it.

Making some changes!!!!

So I've been doing hair at Supercuts for about 7 months now and its been good however latley its hasn't been so great. I've had to work 9 days in a row once and it just about killed me. Also Corporate drives me crazy with all there "policies" not cool. I love the people I work with I just can't handle being stress out with having a bad schedule and a nagging area manager. So I started to look at different places to work. There is a place a block and a half away from our apartment and they are hiring and everything and it sounds great and its close and I really wanted to do it. But i felt like I should maybe give my job another chance and stick it out for a little while. Then I got the schedule for the month of December and I'm scheduled to work eight days in a row and on the eigth day I'm supposed to drive across town to help out at another store. That was the last straw. I already said I would not work more then five days in a row and I hate working at other stores its not fun at all and you never make good money at other stores. So I called for an interview and I got the job. I put in my notice and I start next tuesday. I'm really excited. I feel really good about it. I hope it all works out. (fingers crossed)

I love my Hunny!!!

So as most of you know Hartley and I have been married just over a year! It has been awesome. I love him to death. He take's good care of me and always has the best interest's at heart. He puts my needs first and always wants to make me happy. I think we are both very lucky to have each other. We just work well together, we sacrifice for one another, or compromise. Arguing is out of the question we only have discussions. I know it may not always be so perfect but we hope to keep as close to perfect as possibly while being realistic. We love each other so deeply and passionately we could not be happier. I hope some day soon to be sealed in the temple to Hartley so I can enjoy him through eternity, I can not live with out him. We hope to one day have children and build the family that I wish I had growing up. We are both so excited to start a family, it may not be for a while but I can't wait. I just felt like sharing my thoughts on our marriage because I'm so happy and I can't help myself. Hartley is the love of my life!!!

My Break Down :(

I've been really trying lately to have good days. It can be difficult some times. Just the other day I just broke down and cried for no real reason. I was just really emotional. I could not think of what it could be. I was on my break at home watching some T.V. and it hit me. I still had to pull it together before going back to work so I did and I finished my shift for the day. When I went home at the end of the day I just sat with Hartley and let him hold until I felt better. I still don't know for sure what it was but I have some ideas. Maybe it is the change in whether, the days get darker sooner. Work has been a little stressful, and we just bought my brother's car and lately it feels like we keep adding to our pile of bills. I feel much better now sometimes you just need a good cry.

Just Breathe!!!

Happy late Halloween! I didn't end up doing much. I worked my almost 9 hour shift. I did dress up, I was a lady bug. I just put my outfit together but it worked out nicely. Then I came home to watch movies with my hunny! We watched James and The Giant Peach. I haven't seen that movie in forever, its still cute. Work was really slow in the month of October so I'm glad its finally over. I'm looking forward to making better tips this next month. We're supposed to be busy during the holiday's (cross your fingers). I love what I do and I love my job most of the time, however I am getting really sick of corporate. Upper management is driving me crazy. I'm trying to just not let it bug me and go along with there rules and ridiculous policies but I don't know how much longer I can take it. I have to tell myself "just breathe". I am considering leaving the company for another one but finding jobs is not my favorite thing to do. We'll see how this next month works out, I'm waiting on a couple of things to determine if I'm staying or not. It will all work out in the end I hope.

I finished cosmetology school about a year and a half ago so we've been paying of two of my loans. Loans are never fun but mine weren't to bad. Anyways this past week we were able to pay one of them off and it feels so great. Its a huge weight off of our shoulders. We still have one left but to get that out of the way is awesome. We also recently bought a "Love Sac" and I have to say I am a little addicted to it. Everyone should have one. I think instead of us buying a huge sectional we're just going to buy another huge love sac because they are so amazingly comfortable. I love it!

1st blog!!!

Hello! I've been enjoying the last couple days. I had the last three days off. So nice. I really needed a good break so I could relax and gear up for the rest of the month. This weekend I'm having a little Halloween get together with my family. Everyone is supposed to dress up in there costumes and enjoy games and good food. I made a sample batch of my favorite desert, pumkin cookies. It was the first time I made them by myself so I was a little nervous. Plus I only had a little cheap and mixer, so I crossed my fingers and got started. The end result was delicious. I was very proud of myself. I hope everyone enjoys them. Wish me luck!!!
